St Giles Trust seeks a Hub Support Worker for a part-time, fixed-term role in Newport, supporting vulnerable women with lived experience and complex needs through person-centred mentoring, wellbeing activities, and employment coaching. The Gwent Helping End Homelessness Project (BOOST Building On Our Strengths Together) is a five year National Lottery funded project. St Giles and a wider consortium of Third sector and other well-established organisations will develop the value of lived experience for the benefit of those with lived experience - through a programme of peer mentoring, trauma informed care, training and co-production to strengthen opportunities for employment and make homelessness rare, Brief, and non-recurrent.
Through our Women's hub based in Newport we will coach and train women with lived-experience and complex needs, providing assured and accredited training and work placements, professional coaching and support around employment and general wellbeing needs.
Introduction to the post: Hub Support Worker
Our successful candidate will provide person-centred, individual support to the project participants during their time on the programme. Working closely with the project team you will support our participants with their barriers to progression, including their employment, learning and general wellbeing needs. You will also work proactively with the wider team and partner organisations to ensure the best outcomes for our participants can be achieved.

Provide person-centred, individualised support to a diverse group of participants at the BOOST hub.
Plan and provide wellbeing activities and sessions suitable for participants.
Obtain additional support if needed for participants to help them progress effectively eg via referral to other agencies.
Support with the identification, recruitment and selection of suitable participants.
Maintain timely and accurate records of all interventions, including support plans and complete all project monitoring and reporting as required of your role.
Work with the wider hub team and our partner organisations to provide flexible and holistic support to participants. Reviewing their progress regularly.
Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries are adhered to at all times in line with St Giles policies and procedures.
Work at all times in accordance with the Trust's code of conduct.
