As a Bowser Driver, you will be responsible for operating airside, handling aircraft toilet waste and water systems. This role requires conducting vehicle safety checks and water audits. Given the physical demands, candidates must be physically fit and capable of manual handling. The role also involves working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
The primary objective of the role is to assist our aircraft cleaning teams by transporting and delivering essential supplies, as well as collecting spare and unused products and other items for removal from the aircraft.
To ensure adherence to safety guidelines when positioning onto/off aircraft
To ensure all checks are completed and follow the airline instructions for operating aircraft doors.
Consistently deliver the highest level of customer service.
Operate water and waste bowsers around the airport.
Service water and waste systems for both inbound and outbound flights.
Liaise with the cleaning department to respond to associated requests.
Ensure compliance with airline and airport policies.
Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
To work with the Supervisor and guides person to ensure the aircraft is cleared
To load and unload the Hi-lift vehicle
To ensure the Hi-Lift vehicle kept clean at all times
To ensure the operational reliability of the vehicle and managing the associated paperwork.

Person Specification:
Previous experience operating water and waste bowsers or similar equipment (advantageous).
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Calm, friendly, and professional demeanour.
Physically fit.
Strong organizational skills and work methodology.
Ability to quickly and accurately assess situations and take appropriate corrective actions.
Ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility to work various shift patterns.
Must be able to pass an airside driving medical.

Ability to speak and understand the English language
Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available

A full UK driving license
Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired
Ability to speak additional languages is desired
