This is a unique and varied role in a diverse organisation offering you the opportunity to lead, manage and develop the Box Office team and systems whilst striving to provide a high level of customer service for the Island's flagship venues for arts, entertainment and creativity.
Working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, you will deal with all aspects of ticketing and box office functions and manage relationships with key stakeholders. Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Acting as the super user of the ticketing/ customer relationship management system
Leading the Box Office Team to provide a high level of customer service whilst adhering to agreed procedures, policies and internal controls
Creating, collecting, preparing, monitoring and analysing ticketing data to assist with and enable informed decisions around current and future show programming
Overseeing the reconciliation of all box office income, ensuring cash handling and reconciliation processes are adhered to
Acting as Duty Manager for the complex on a rostered basis, including occasional evening and weekend cover depending on the event schedule
Working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure maximisation of ticket sales, audience reach and attendance potential
The role offers you the chance to work autonomously and be a pro-active problem solver, identifying solutions and resolving and preventing issues to ensure little or no impact on VillaGaiety's ticketing service.
