Social Return is a growing and dynamic team of case managers assessing, coordinating services and supporting people across England who are rebuilding their lives and futures following life-changing injuries.

We provide comprehensive case management services for clients with a wide variety of complex conditions, which may include working with clients with acquired brain injury, spinal injury, cerebral palsy, serious orthopaedic injury, and prolonged disorders of consciousness (VS and MCS).

This is both a challenging and rewarding role, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, compassion, resilience and clinical and managerial experience. About you:



You are a proactive professional, ideally with experience of working with brain injured adults and/or children or working with people who have complex physical and/or neurological presentations and interested in joining a highly supportive and collaborative Case Management company in which to continue your development.

This position is ideally suited (but not limited) to those who hold an active professional registration (HCPC, SWE or NMC, IRCM ) in the following roles:

Chartered Psychologist

Physiotherapist

Social Worker

Registered Nurse

Speech & Language Therapist

Occupational Therapist


You will have access to your own car with business insurance and be prepared to travel as part of your working day. You will need to reside in the North East but as this is a hybrid role you will be able to work from home or office, based on the demands of your diary and will also attend team meetings, meetings with colleagues and other internal events, however, more frequent office based working is available for those who prefer it. You will want to be more office based throughout the induction period to get to know colleagues, taking advantage of the skills and knowledge of the team as well as the support they can offer.
