Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team at our manufacturing facility based in Huntingdon PE29 6EF. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing of our bespoke stair formwork systems, ensuring precision and quality through your expertise with press brake machinery. Your contributions will directly support our mission to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and set up manual press brake machines to fabricate metal components
+ Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production
+ Perform quality inspections on finished products to meet specifications
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
+ Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
+ Utilize CNC programming for precision fabrication tasks
+ Maintain accurate records of production output and materials used
+ Assist in troubleshooting any issues with machinery or production processes.
Qualifications
+ Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator
+ Proficient in CNC programming and operation of manual press brake machines
+ Strong understanding of technical drawings, GD&T, and mechanical knowledge
+ Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques
+ Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
+ Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
+ Attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 14.50-18.00 per hour
