Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving branch performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.

Duties



Supervise and manage daily branch operations to achieve performance targets. Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to enhance their skills and productivity. Develop new ways of promoting sales, broadening the sales range, and also focus on implementing online store and online marketplace sales Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Monitor branch performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Manage inventory levels and oversee supply ordering processes. Provide back up management support to co-ordinate and supervise the activities of operations staff, volunteers and work placements Support other team members of staff by working with them and assisting them to improve their on-the-job skills, reporting any training needs to the operations/sales co-ordinator

Experience and Essential criteria



Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail or service environment is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. IT proficient with skills in EPOS systems, Content Management Systems and other office tools such as Word and Excel Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics. A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Knowledge and practical experience of working in a warehouse environment Ability to demonstrate a creative approach Flexibility

Note a full UK driving licence is required

Pay: 30,000.00 per year
