Job Title: Brand Manager - Carlsberg UK
Location: Field Based - with weekly travel to customers, offices
Job Length: 12 Month FTC - Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic's brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depot's servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
About the role:
We're looking for a Brand Manager to take on one of the biggest names in beer: Carlsberg.
You'll play an integral role in developing a brand known for its bold ideas, clever campaigns, and iconic "Probably the best beer in the world" line. This isn't just any brand role - it's a chance to shape the future of a true marketing legend.
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you'll be the driving force behind Carlsberg in the UK - our biggest global market. You'll lead smart, surprising, and seriously effective campaigns, shape innovation, and bring to life our incredible partnerships with the likes of Liverpool FC and UEFA.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Producing and delivering clear and focused plans that deliver ROI on ATL and BTL investment
  • Drive overall profitable growth of the brand P&L
  • Influence across the team (Marketing & Sales, Marketing Strat and Planning) to deliver maximum value for 3xC's/Triple Win (Customers, Consumers and the organization); built from insight
  • Work closely with the sales teams to drive brand distribution and ensure gold standard execution
  • Appropriate mix development: packaging, pricing strategy, marketing / sales support plan
  • Support Senior Brand Manager with media planning recommendations, working with partner agencies to ensure impact and effectiveness of marketing spend
  • Sponsorship and activation accountability to ensure it delivers brand ROI
  • Day to day management of the marketing budget and spend
  • Protect brand attributes across a wide range of internal stakeholders and hold relationships with brand and agency partners
  • Alignment and execution of the innovation pipeline to drive brand strategy and agenda. Success measured by the return generated by Innovation in the market
Experience and Key Attributes:
  • Previous experience in brand management & brand marketing for a recognised FMCG brand is preferred
  • Ability to operate at pace and with confident leadership behaviours, whilst adopting a hands-on approach to delivering success
  • Broad experience and understanding across breadth of marketing fundamentals
  • Commercially confident, with the ability to turn insight into recommendations and actions to rectify / grow performance
  • Fast paced, commercial and decisive, understanding the needs of customers, consumers and the business
  • Successful experience of translating business agendas into plans and driving execution of these
  • Obsession with plans that can be effectively executed and deliver on expectations
  • Proven success in developing advertising and promotional materials across a mix of media.
  • Experience in developing a wide variety of creative advertising solutions to deliver brand growth aligned with portfolio and consumer
The role is flexible in terms of day-to-day location but travel to one of our offices in Northampton, Wolverhampton & Hemel Hempstead will be required along with London-based agencies. You will also be required to do some national travel to support customer meetings and brand events. All travel expenses will be covered.
