TERM TIME ONLY



27.5 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday. Typical Hours 6.30am-7am Home Based, Paid Travel time , 7.30-9am Breakfast Club. 3pm-6pm After School Club

Salary: 25,000

(includes Holiday Pay), plus additional uncapped Profit Share - realistic 2,000-4,000 per year.

Location:

A combination of working from home and local High Wycombe area schools for Breakfast and After School Clubs. At least 5 hours per week will be home-based for admin and meetings.

Job Purpose



To monitor and continuously improve the quality of our wraparound care provision ensuring it meets all regulatory standards and delivers an enriching, safe, and inclusive environment for all children. This will be mainly achieved by working at our clubs and supporting the teams, however 5+ hours per week will be delivered from home. We expect the successful candidate to self manage thier time and location dependent on the needs for the business.

Key Responsibilities



1. Quality Assurance

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care provision using internal audits, feedback, and external benchmarking, along with day to day onsite observations. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance (e.g., Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, food hygiene, health and safety). Develop and implement quality improvement plans as required. Develop Team Members ensuring everyone reaches their full potential.
2. Safeguarding and Child Welfare

Act as a Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead (working closely each Clubs DSL). Promote and maintain a safe, nurturing environment where all children feel secure and supported. Ensure accurate record-keeping, incident reporting, and communication with families and relevant professionals.
3. Curriculum and Activities

Oversee the planning and delivery of stimulating, age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, and physical development. Promote inclusion and ensure activities meet the needs of diverse learners.
4. Communication and Partnerships

Work collaboratively with our Recruitment and Admin team. Provide updates to the Managing Director of challenges and actions taken to address.

Person Specification



Essential:

Experience managing a childcare setting, either a wraparound services OR a Nursery Settings. Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks (e.g. Ofsted, EYFS, Food Hygiene). Effective leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Level 3 qualification (or higher) in childcare, playwork, or a related field. Must be IT Literate and able to use Word, Excel and Email. Full Driving License and Car.
Desirable:

Previous experience in a school setting. Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training. Knowledge of SEND and inclusion best practices. Pediatric First Aid qualification.
