As a Breakfast Assistant at Holiday Inn Express, you will play a vital role in delivering a positive guest experience by ensuring the breakfast service runs smoothly, efficiently, and to brand standards. You will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service to ensure guests start their day on a positive note.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, replenish, and clear down the breakfast area before, during, and after service.
Ensure all food and beverage items are presented attractively and comply with Holiday Inn Express brand standards.
Greet guests warmly and assist with any breakfast-related questions or needs.
Monitor food temperatures and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
Restock utensils, cups, condiments, and other breakfast supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area including tables, floors, and service stations.
Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues promptly and professionally.
Assist with basic food preparation (e.g., heating items, toasting bread, brewing coffee).
Report inventory needs, maintenance issues, and guest concerns to the supervisor or manager
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (training can be provided).
Well-groomed appearance and positive, customer-focused attitude.
Pay: 12.21 per hour
