Are you an early riser with a passion for hospitality? Join our friendly team at our esteemed hotel in Glasgow, United Kingdom, as a Breakfast Assistant. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our guests start their day with a delightful breakfast experience.

Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented Greet guests with a warm smile and provide attentive, efficient service throughout breakfast hours Implement our breakfast concept with enthusiasm and attention to detail Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the breakfast area and kitchen Replenish food items and beverages as needed Assist with clearing tables and resetting for incoming guests Ensure smooth service delivery Address guest queries and special requests in a friendly, professional manner Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues across departments Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Qualifications

Completed apprenticeship in the hotel trade or professional experience in the hotel/catering industry (career changers are also welcome) Genuine passion for hospitality and customer service Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work early morning shifts and weekends Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist across departments Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods * Ability to remain calm and maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
