Down Hall Hotel and Spa, an iconic establishment known for its refined service and elegant atmosphere, is seeking an Breakfast Assistant to support our thriving outlets, including our Bar, Terrace, and Restaurant.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Team member with a strong work ethic,who thrives in early start shifts 6.00 am -3.00 pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in food service. This role involves supporting various aspects of our operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that all food safety standards are upheld.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service by catering to the needs of guests in a friendly and professional manner. Support serving staff during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during service times. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Uphold food safety standards throughout all stages of food handling and preparation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of catering practices and food preparation techniques is an advantage. Experience as a barista is beneficial, particularly in fast-paced settings. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team. A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
