We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure seamless operations.
Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
Train new staff members on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.
Experience
Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential for leading a diverse kitchen team.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant setting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
