We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while supervising kitchen operations and managing a team of culinary professionals.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served at the correct temperature.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operation.
Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure availability.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Train new kitchen employees on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or culinary industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety standards.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.
