As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that our restaurant maintains the highest standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation processes and maintain food safety protocols. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety practices, and restaurant policies. Assist in maintaining a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that delight customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 6.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
