Job Overview:

We are currently seeking 2 skilled cooks with at least 3 years experience each to join our team in preparing delicious meals in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. We run a breakfast service 7 days a week, open to residents and the general public.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes

- Ensure food preparation meets food safety standards

- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen

- Accurately complete daily kitchen diary and admin

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals and great service

- Monitor and manage food inventory levels

- Moments of Lone Working

- Be confident and friendly when speaking to diners

- Clean kitchen after service

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting

- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills

- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Must be competent, reliable, and punctual
