Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate breakfast/grill Chef to join our team Saturday and Sundays 8-4pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and practical cooking skills to ensure an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to menu specifications and dietary requirements. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques. Supervise food production processes to maintain consistency and efficiency in service. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and catering options. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 14.50 per hour
