The Role:

Breakfast Chef.



Location:

Edinburgh city centre.



Package:

Hourly 13.00-15.50 With share of tronc.



Additions:

20% staff discount within all units.



Working Hours:

Five days week 07:00 - 14:00, all overtime paid.



Montpelier ltd. currently require Breakfast Chef throughout our very successful hotel and restaurant group.

The Business: Montpelier's in perticular; Rabble Tap House and Grill. The property combines luxury Hotel accommodation, high volume quality restaurant dinning.

The Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Chef to take the next step in their career working in one of Scotland`s award winning restaurant groups. As a Breakfast Chef, you will play a pivotal role in food production and preparation, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities as Breakfast Chef:



To be responsible for the mis-en-place for the Breakfast Section To be responsible for breakfast production and service To assist the Head Chef with ordering requirements To maintain a high standard of Kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practice Maintain positive working relationships with the rest of the team and other colleagues To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary Managing your own section under the guidance of senior management Maintaining & driving consistently high standards of produce. Ensure good stock and waste control is practised Be responsible for the quality control of stock and prepared foods Execute cooking to the expected high standard quickly and efficiently Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of kitchen during service. Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times and seek to improve and advance your skill set and performance Comply with all health and safety regulations, the Staff Code of Conduct and company policies Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef and management

The ideal Breakfast Chef:



Experience of working as a Breakfast Chef. Able to work in a flexible and motivated manner Excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to use own initiative Has a positive, can-do attitude and must be reliable Strong communication skills Enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and is competent in multi-tasking Possess a passion and knowledge for food. Be driven and focussed on first class standards across every aspect of the operation. Have shown loyalty and longevity throughout their career. Have excellent planning and organisational skills. Have excellent personal presentation and be consummately professional at all times.
