Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Train new kitchen team members in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Manage kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent skills in food preparation and production techniques. Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage a team effectively. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire others in a fast-paced environment. Creative flair for developing new recipes and menu items. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
