We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a deep understanding of food safety standards. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring a high standard of hospitality and service in our establishment. Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary options.
Manage inventory levels of food supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery to customers.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen operations.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as needed to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
Leadership qualities with experience in supervising and managing a team effectively.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.
