Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Manage food production processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills.
Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs of guests.
Assist in catering events and banquets, ensuring exceptional service and presentation.
Handle shift management responsibilities, including scheduling staff and managing workflow during peak hours.
Skills
Proven experience in the culinary field with a strong background in fine dining.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Proficient in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
Experience in restaurant management or catering services is highly desirable.
