About Us

The Fox Hall Inn is a charming and welcoming establishment known for its warm hospitality and commitment to quality, locally-sourced food. We pride ourselves on providing a memorable experience for all our guests, starting with the most important meal of the day. We are seeking a dedicated and talented Breakfast Chef to join our friendly kitchen team.

The Role

As our Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our breakfast service. You will ensure every guest starts their day with a delicious, high-quality meal, cooked and presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking our full breakfast menu, including traditional cooked breakfasts, continental options, and daily specials. Managing the breakfast service to ensure timely and consistent delivery of orders. Maintaining stock levels and placing orders for the breakfast section. Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Assisting with food preparation for other services (lunch/dinner) as required. Working closely and collaboratively with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a professional and passionate individual who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie in a similar hotel or restaurant environment. A passion for fresh food and high-quality ingredients. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. A reliable and punctual nature, especially for early morning starts.

Crucially, a flexible approach to work is essential. Your hours will vary depending on hotel bookings and business needs. The ability to work additional hours, and be flexible with the rota, including weekends and occasional cover for other shifts, is a key requirement for this role.

A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
