Are you a morning person? We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our Kitchen team here at The Bell. We are a 16 bedroom hotel, and need an energetic individual to cook breakfast for our guests, to the highest standard.

Traditional but unique English inn Situated in Ticehurst village centre, on the Kent/Sussex border. Famous for its hospitality & quirkiness We have a selection of local ales 50 seat restaurant renowned locally for serving contemporary English food. 11 bedrooms including four lodges, based on local Oast houses. Popular venue for weddings for up to 80 guests Intimate dinners, parties, lunches, gatherings Comedy / Film nights Spring and winter fairs along with a music festival over the course of the year Recently opened 5 new garden room, totalling to 16 rooms Indoor and outdoor kitchen

Experience

Hotel, restaurant or pub kitchen experience preferred Enthusiasm to progress Eager to learn Experience working in busy working environment

Days / Hours

We have a Part time role available to join our kitchen team as a breakfast chef, working 20 hours per week. 7:00-11:00am Monday-Friday. Weekend availability would be desirable

Key tasks and accountability

Preparation and production of food to agreed standards High level of communication Mise en place ready prior to service Observation of hygiene regulations HACCP Reliability and presentation Helping the chefs with daily prep Sorting out deliveries and storage To run a smooth operation of Breakfast to our guests to highest standard
