We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast/Commis Prep chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, support kitchen operations, and contribute to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Share of gratuitity tips will also be added to the monthly pay
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
Main Task will be cooking for our breakfast and brunch morning menus
Support senior chefs in food presentation and plating where required
Able to work alone for breakfast hours, starting from 6am onwards, then as a part of team later in the day if required/available, breakfast shift ends around 10.30am
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Skills
Previous experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hospitality is desirable
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Basic cooking skills especially for breakfast service
Good communication skills, able to follow instructions accurately
Prior restaurant or culinary experience, including serving, is beneficial but not essential
