Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, demonstrating a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation and meal preparation, ensuring that our guests enjoy a delicious and well-presented breakfast before heading to work.

Shifts will be Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2am. Must own transport as there is no local transport at this time.

You will also get a full split of tips. Paid holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning and execution of menus, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilised effectively. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Clean and organise the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, fostering a supportive team environment.

Skills

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar culinary setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to work collaboratively with team members. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve skills in food preparation and presentation.
