Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices. Serve meals to customers when required, ensuring an excellent dining experience.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices to ensure compliance. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members efficiently. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field. Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
