Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring a consistency in quality, taste and presentation
Manage stock rotations efficiently, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum
Maintain high standards of organisation within the kitchen to ensure a seamless service
Have a knowledge of cook to order food preparation and be highly organised and flexible.
Clean the kitchen during and after service, ensuring equipment, appliances and fixtures are cleaned and maintained at all times particularly during service.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
The ideal candidate will:
Have at least one years' experience working in a busy cafe/coffee shop or restaurant kitchen
Hold a level 2 food safety certificate and be familiar with policies and procedures around food safety
Be able to work quickly, calmly and efficiently during busy periods
Naturally seek out tasks during quieter periods and be a self-starter
