Breakfast Cook
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team until the end of the season, to prepare Breakfast for our Guests. The ideal candidate will have some experience but willingness to learn and common sense is also a good start.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook our buffet breakfast
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times during preparation and cooking
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Assist with Dining room and Kitchen clean up after breakfast
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a guest house setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently
- Attention to detail and a good attitude
- Good communication skills to work effectively with the team
If you enjoy cooking and working in a stress free kitchen this would be the ideal job for you. The buffet breakfast is very straight forward with numbers and times given in advance. The breakfast cook is responsible for setting up the breakfast buffet before service. As we are just a small kitchen the breakfast cook is also required to do dishes.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 weeks
Pay: 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
