Breakfast Cook
Job Description
We are looking for a breakfast cook for a very busy cafe serving breakfast from 7am, lunch and lighter bites in the afternoon. Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic team player. If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to be part of one of Newcastle's busiest cafes then this is the role for you. We have a strong reputation, providing quality in food, drinks and service. This venue has a great busy breakfast trade with a strong lunch service.
If you are passionate about service in a fun environment and have the relevant experience then this could be the opportunity for you.
This role would suit someone looking for earlier shifts starting at 7am and usually finished by 2pm. Ideal if you are looking for a bit more work life balance. We are looking for someone who has had some previous experience in meal preparation in a catering environment or similar cafe.
Responsibilities
Fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Manage food preparation and cooking to specification.
Qualifications
Strong self management Culinary and food safety knowledge Experience in food preparation and cooking
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour
