We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Breakfast Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Hours of work:
07.30am-09.30am (2 hours)
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week
Duties
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management
Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong culinary skills, with an understanding of various cooking techniques
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
A passion for food and a desire to continually improve culinary skills
