Job Description

We are looking for Breakfast waiting staff who want to join a fantastic team at a central London hotel!

1. Follow the standard operating procedures for breakfast as laid out in the operating manual

2. To welcome guests, seat them and advise them of their choices for relevant time of the day

3. To be aware of guest allergies and assist the guest in any queries

4. To advise guests with allergies of which dishes on the menu are and are not suitable for them

5. Ensure the guests receive efficient, friendly service

6. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems

7. To keep the stock refreshed throughout service

8. To clean and restock the coffee machine, buffet and the surrounding areas

9. To ensure that requirements for food stock, new equipment and chemicals are notified to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Front Office Manager with sufficient notice to ensure deliveries arrive before stock levels run out

10. To ensure the safety of Hotel during opening hours, this includes relevant use of warning signage and appropriate cleaning materials.

11. To prepare service areas ensuring quality and standards are adhered to

12. To clean and re-set and re-stock the service areas accordingly

13. To only use Hotel approved suppliers for food and drink

14. To only use Hotel approved chemicals and substances correctly and safely following certain procedures and by using correct dilution ratios.

15. To only use chemicals for which you have received relevant COSHH training

Working hours: Approximately 6am - 12noon/1pm
Contract: Permanent/Part-time/Casual
Must be eligible to work in the UK as no Sponsorship will be granted

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.62 per hour
