Job Description
Holos is an award-winning kombucha brewery, producing authentic, small-batch kombucha for nationwide distribution. We're growing fast and our drinks can be found in Whole Foods Market, Selfridges, Ocado, Mindful Chef and a major UK supermarket.
We're also a purpose-driven company: alongside making the UK's best-tasting kombucha, we provide paid work placements for survivors of exploitation -- every bottle is truly Brewed for Good(TM).
We're looking for a Brewer to lead fermentation, quality control, and production of our kombucha and sparkling tea. This is a hands-on role, responsible for ensuring every batch meets the highest standards of flavour, safety and consistency. You'll oversee cleaning and compliance, manage ingredients and recipes, and play a vital role in scaling our brewing operation. In the short term, you may need to support the packaging line when required, working closely with the rest of the team to ensure operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee brewing, fermenting, blending and flavouring of kombucha Maintain rigorous cleaning, hygiene and sanitation standards Uphold HACCP, SALSA and QC compliance across the brewery Conduct regular sensory and lab testing to maintain consistency Accurate production reporting using inventory management software (unleashed) Contribute to continuous improvement as we scale up Support packaging operations as and when required
What We're Looking For
2+ years brewing or soft drinks experience (beer/cider skills transferable) Strong knowledge of QC practices and food safety High attention to detail and passion for consistent processes Physically fit and happy in a hands-on, fast paced environment Organised and adaptable, able to problem-solve under pressure Must have the right to work in the UK and able to travel to our rural site by car
Training & Development
HACCP certification to Level 3 Specialist fermentation and microbiology training as required Opportunities to progress as Holos scales and new team members join
