We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our close knit team.

Working within our taproom above our own brewery, shifts will be primarily weekends, with extra hours during busy weeks, festivals and events.

The ideal candidate will have previous hospitality experience, however, we also offer on the job training and development.

A passion for good customer service, and an interest in craft beer and our products will be advantageous.

Essential Criteria:

Promote positive customer experience Ability to work supervised and unsupervised Ability to operate professionally under pressure Good Communication skills

Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience in the hospitality industry Good timekeeping Willingness to learn and promote our brand and products Be reliable, patient and confident with a friendly outgoing manner The ability to work in a small team Motivator with an excellent inner drive Ability to deal with basic on the job issues

Additional Responsibilities

Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers. Serve and pour drinks to a high standard, including cask and keg beers. Learn and confidently describe Briarbank's beer range to customers. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all bar areas. Assist in setting up and running small events, such as quiz nights or live music. Work efficiently during busy periods and take initiative during quieter times. Handle transactions accurately.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
