Full job description
1. To provide British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation and
communication support to ensure equal access to the
curriculum both social and academic.
2. To contribute to the formulation of an individual learning
support plan for the child they work with.
3. To liaise with nursery staff, parents, outside agencies and other
colleagues to ensure effective strategies for learning are
implemented.
4. To plan and undertake learning support activities relevant to
the needs of the child.
This post will be within a nursery setting working with a three year old child until they leave the setting in September 2026. It is 3 days a week, a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8a.m- 5.30p.m.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to 12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Work Location: In person
