As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety practices.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences through creativity and attention to detail.
