The Role
We are seeking a Build To Rent - Property Manager - ensuring that our World-Class service is coordinated and delivered across a development portfolio.
This role is central to building confidence among our residents, clients, and partners. You will be responsible for overseeing
the day-to-day management of a residential portfolio, proactive and reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and compliance and most importantly building and maintaining a supportive and attentive service to clients, residents and on-site development management teams.
As the client-side representative of our business, we're looking for a charismatic and positive individual who can embody and demonstrate our core values in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Client Manager
Manage multiple residential properties across a development, taking full ownership of each building as if it were your own. Ensure resident satisfaction and client requirements are consistently met or exceeded.
Foster strong, trusted relationships with clients to ensure continuity of instruction and confidence in portfolio management.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to deliver a positive resident experience while ensuring costs remain within or exceed budget expectations. Challenge contractors' proposals to achieve the best outcomes for the client.
Work closely with the lettings team to prepare units for new tenancies, ensuring seamless move-in experiences. Collaborate to minimize void periods through shared responsibility and proactive planning.
Prepare comprehensive, accurate client reports and present updates during monthly meetings. Maintain regular day-to-day communication to keep clients informed of portfolio performance.
Property Management
Oversee proactive, reactive, and emergency maintenance operations.
Manage maintenance using internal and online resident reporting systems.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation across the portfolio.
Handle the end-of-tenancy process, including checkouts, dilapidation claims, and deposit releases.
Work closely with trusted contractors to maintain consistently high service standards across the portfolio and wider company operations.

About You

Assessment Criteria
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or equivalent property/portfolio management experience.
