Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting building projects through manual labour, site preparation, and assisting skilled tradespeople. This position offers an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop in all aspects of the construction industry while contributing to diverse building projects. The role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, ability to follow instruction and to work safely at all times.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site Preparing site by clearing debris, setting out materials, tools etc Supporting qualified builders and other tradespeople with their tasks Digging trenches, mixing concrete, and performing other manual labour tasks as directed Ensuring health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency Assisting with the installation of fixtures, fittings, and other structural components as needed

Skills

Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods working in all weathers Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team and be a self-starter, able to think and work independently as needed Good organisational skills with an eye for detail Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to building work Previous experience in construction or related trades is advantageous but not essential Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on-site Valid UK driving licence and means of getting to work (Clipstone) on time (early starts) essential
