Overview

BC Alliance is a newly restructured building control service based in Soihull, Birmingham. Under the leadership of new management, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and development. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality building control services while fostering strong relationships with architects, developers, and clients across the region.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Control Professional Class 2 to join our team. This role offers plenty of variety as you manage and progress a broad range of building control projects through to effective completion. You will also play a key part in growing our business by establishing and strengthening working relationships with industry professionals.

Skills

Strong analysis skills to evaluate building structures against technical standards effectively Excellent attention to detail to identify potential safety hazards or code violations Good communication skills for clear reporting and liaising with stakeholders Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building plans accurately Organised approach to managing multiple inspections and documentation efficiently Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and inspection procedures is desirable

Requirements

Strong ability to market the service with exceptional customer service skills Must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) to Class 2A, with commitment to further improvement. Maintain registered status with the BSR, including a record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Full UK Driving Licence
