Key Responsibilities:

Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with basic tasks Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazards Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and mortar Operate basic hand tools and mechanical equipment (e.g., concrete mixers, drills) Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to project timelines Set up scaffolding, barriers, and other temporary structures Support with deliveries and inventory checks Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Perform other ad hoc duties as required

Essential:

Physical fitness

- Able to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects

Work ethic

- Punctual, dependable, and willing to take on various tasks

Team player

- Able to work collaboratively with other site workers and trades

Safety awareness

- Basic understanding of site safety practices

Communication

- Able to follow verbal and written instructions

Desirable:

Previous experience in a construction or labouring role Valid CSCS card (or equivalent site safety certification) Familiarity with power tools and small machinery Knowledge of basic building techniques Driving licence (especially for remote site access)
