Building Maintenance Operative
Job Description
We are looking to employ experienced multi-trade maintenance operatives based in Worcestershire for an immediate start. With a focus on commercial and industrial construction and renovation, our work sectors include education, retail, commercial office buildings, industrial warehouse buildings, and leisure facilities.
The role will include visiting various sites to carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs to client properties independently as required, as well as supporting our construction teams on larger projects as required. The ideal candidate will be a time served tradesperson that is well-organised and has a keen eye for detail.
Salary will be dependent on skill set, qualifications and experience - We're looking for someone with experience in:
General building and maintenance activities and small projects works including the ability to carry out some of the below;
Patch plastering and render repair
Installation of vinyl flooring and carpet tiles
Small carpentry works such as door hanging and fitting of ironmongery, skirting and handrails
Painting and decoration with suitable preparation
Simple plumbing tasks, changing of taps, waste pipework, cistern syphons etc
Maintenance of gutters and downpipes and gutter blockages and clearances and external building cleans
Roof repairs including EPDM, slate or tiles
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 27,000.00-37,000.00 per year
