We have an exciting opportunity for Building Safety Managers to join us in the management of our high rise buildings to manage our requirements of the Building safety Act.
We are looking for highly motivated people with experience in managing blocks and in particular high rise buildings and with an understanding of the Building Safety Act 2023 and Fire Safety Order 2005 to join the Building Safety Team. You will work with colleagues across the council, our partners and a range of key stakeholders.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for Building Safety Managers to join us in the management of our high rise buildings within the City.
Brighton & Hove have 46 high rise blocks within the City and each Building Safety Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the block.
Each Building Safety Manager will be responsible for 12 blocks under their management and they will be responsible for the structural and fire safety of residents within the blocks to ensure that we meet the expectations of our Fire safety policies and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.
We are looking for highly motivated people with experience in managing and properties with an understanding of the Building Safety Act requirements.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
