PART TIME DEGREE FUNDED - BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEER (APPRENTICE) - September 2025 London Bishopsgate.

Due to continued company expansion, ECS Consultants have the availability for a professional apprentice to train as Building Services and Sustainable Design Engineers within our Mechanical, Electrical and CAD Design department. This follows the success of our existing apprentices within the business.

This exciting opportunity for candidates who share our passion will be a mixture of job training (four days per week) whilst studying for a B.Eng Degree in Building Services and Sustainable Engineering (one day per week, term time).

We are looking for candidates who are motivated, enthusiastic and have a good attitude towards developing their career. The candidates should currently be studying A Levels in maths and / or physics and they must have a positive attitude and a keen interest in the building services engineering sector. The main duties for this role include:

- Assist in the Design of Sustainable Mechanical and Electrical Systems

- Production of Auto Cad Drawings

- Production of REVIT Drawings

- Undertake Site Surveys

- Attend Design Team Meetings

- Attend Project Meetings

- Operate Engineering Design Systems

- Production of Computer Models

The successful candidates will be enrolled on the 'Building Services Engineering' course at the London South Bank University. The course will take place one day per week at the campus (with four days spent within the company office) and will earn the candidate a B.Eng (Hons) degree. The candidate will be based at our London Bishopsgate office. They will have the opportunity to meet other professional apprentices within the business.
