Burton Albion FC are looking for an experienced and committed

Safety and Security Officer

to join their operations team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all attendees at football matches, sporting fixtures, concerts, and other large-scale events held at the iconic Pirelli Stadium and associated sites.

This is a pivotal role focused on planning, delivering, and monitoring all aspects of matchday and event safety in accordance with the SGSA Green Guide, the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975, and the Club's Health & Safety policies. Working closely with external agencies and partners, you'll help maintain the highest safety standards, oversee risk assessments, and support the wider matchday operations and stewarding teams.

Key Requirements:

NVQ Level 4/5 in Spectator Safety (or working towards) NEBOSH or IOSH Health & Safety qualification Working knowledge of SGSA Green Guide Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar stadium safety role Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - attendance on match days is essential Enhanced DBS check required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
