We also handle the complexities of divorce and family law, employment law and dispute resolution advice as well as providing a range of business law services to our clients.
Opportunity
We have exciting opportunities for full-time permanent Business Administrators to join our Office Services Team in our Edinburgh office. We have 3 full-time opportunities with varying work patterns, 2x Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm and 1x Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm, all 33.75 hours per week and the role is fully office based.
As a Business Administrator, you will provide administrative assistance to Partners and Fee-earners across the Firm. Services include but are not limited to general administration, reprographics and mail services in both physical and digital environments.
The Business Administrators provide photocopying, scanning and printing support as well as preparing mail files for digital scanning; sort scan, rename and distribute. The successful candidates will collect and process outgoing mail, processing letters for printing and complete envelope fulfilment requirements. The Business Administrators also prepare and collate electronic bundles, meeting papers, bind documents, complete data entry, managing spreadsheets, electronic filing and document conversion.
As part of the role you will complete the online registration of Power of Attorney's, Registers of Scotland, including Voluntary Registration and collecting and completing any information required for billing or client charge back data. The role also includes the management of our MDF fleet and stationery.
Business Administrators are aligned to one of the Firms legal/tax departments and are required to support colleagues in other departments as appropriate.
Person Specification
The successful candidates are expected to have previous administrative experience, which is essential and experience working with a legal environment would be advantageous. You will be a strong team player and have a flexible attitude. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is needed for this role as you will be exposed to highly sensitive information. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Strong PC skills are required and full training will be provided on the various systems used throughout the Firm.
