We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and the business, ensuring that technology solutions align with organisational goals. You will be responsible for gathering and analysing data, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and contributing to project management efforts. This position requires a strong foundation in data analysis, as well as proficiency in various analytical tools.
Duties
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, processes, and objectives.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of business solutions.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Prepare clear documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and workflow diagrams.
Work closely with QA teams to develop test cases and participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project progress.
Support change management and user training during system implementations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong knowledge of business process modelling, data analysis, and requirements gathering techniques.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
