Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting project teams to deliver strategic asset management and maintenance solutions across the

energy, water, and manufacturing sectors

. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and can translate business needs into actionable solutions.

The role is full-time and permanent. Ideally you will be based in South Wales (and able to visit our HQ in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire from time to time), but you will be spending time at client sites, both within South Wales and across the UK, so travel and flexibility are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of consulting projects by gathering, analysing, and documenting client requirements. Work with project managers and client teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables. Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and process flows. Contribute to the development and implementation of frameworks, strategies, and systems. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients. Participate in user acceptance testing and solution validation. Engage in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives across client organisations. Visit industrial sites to capture business and operational insights, supporting project outcomes.

About You

Essential:

Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and processes effectively. Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with clients and project teams. Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A consulting mindset with problem-solving ability and a focus on delivering value. Willingness to travel and work on client sites.
Desirable:

Experience in business analysis or consulting. Experience working with analytical systems such as modelling tools, or structured databases. Strong data handling and interpretation skills to support decision-making and reporting.
