Business Analyst/Product Owner

to join their team. This organisation rescues over 500,000 books a week from landfill, promoting a circular economy and boosting global literacy by donating a book for every purchase made on their platform.

The Role:

As a Business Analyst/Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical delivery. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define product vision, manage backlogs, and ensure stakeholder needs are captured and prioritised effectively.

Your work will directly support the company's mission of sustainability and literacy promotion, making your role both commercially important and socially meaningful.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage the product backlog for one or more teams. Turn stakeholder requirements into clear, prioritised user stories. Work closely with technical and non-technical teams to deliver products aligned with business goals. Promote and embody the company's vision across all teams. Commit to personal development, spending around 10% of your time on learning activities.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

At least 3 years in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role within an Agile environment. Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Skills:

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Passion for sustainability and the circular economy. Commitment to continual personal improvement and learning.

Desirable:

Certified Professional Scrum Master (CPSM) or similar. Familiarity with Microservices Architecture. Experience with Cloud Computing (preferably AWS).
