THE COMPANY:

Our client is a UK-based financial institution that provides a wide range of banking services to both personal and business customers. The bank has over 60 years of experience in delivering banking solutions that meet the needs of its diverse clientele. Its services include corporate banking, trade finance, personal banking, and treasury and money markets.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completion of AML/CTF & sanctions assessment reports in line with the addendum.
• Support the BCM in completion of enhanced due diligence on Correspondent Banking Relationships & MSBs in line with the addendum.
• Providing ongoing support to the Business Compliance Manager in the assessment of the AML/CTF and sanctions control framework of the Respondents and MSBs.
• Maintain the CB/MSB risk dashboard up to-date as and when the AML/CTF assessments are completed.
• Advisory and engagement support between London and West Africa to enhance awareness and understanding of local knowledge and culture.
• Follow up with the Respondent banks regarding closure of any pending remedial actions.

• Ability to articulate concisely and succinctly to ensure wider audience can be taken along the journey.
• Proactive and problem-solving approach to look for compliant solutions.
• Client centric approach.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Deadline driven with a strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of banking and regulatory frameworks would preferable.
• Proficient use of PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel), Office 365/SharePoint.
