Business Development Assistant

to join our team and support our sales and customer engagement efforts.

As a

Business Development Assistant

, you will play a key role in engaging with potential clients and strategic customers to enhance our sales funnel. This includes sourcing and pursuing high-quality leads that align with customer needs, always delivering a timely and professional experience.

What you'll be doing:



Outbound Calls: You will conduct outbound telephone calls to current and prospective contacts, which may include effective cold calling. CRM Management: Ensure that our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is consistently updated. Diary Management: Efficiently manage your own diary and CRM system. Appointment Booking: Schedule qualified appointments each week. Lead Generation: Secure appointments for Engineers with former, existing, and prospective clients. Client Communication: Send company information to clients as needed. Lead Qualification: Proactively monitor all incoming leads and qualify them. Quality Assurance: Regularly collaborate with Directors to ensure the quality of leads remains high.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different profiles and levels of experience. Tenacity: A tenacious and self-motivated approach. Interpersonal Skills: High level of interpersonal skills. Tech Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook & Excel Problem-Solving: Ability to multi-task and formulate solutions. Team Player: Collaborative and able to work well within a team. Telephone Etiquette: Confident and professional telephone manner. Quick Thinking: Ability to be reactive and think on your feet. Experience: 2 years + experience in a similar role is preferred.

Hours of work:



9.00 am-5.30 pm Monday-Friday

Please note: This role requires your physical presence during all working hours. Remote work is not available.
