Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Part-Time Virtual Sales and Business Development Assistant to join our team. This role focuses primarily on B2B sales through building and nurturing partnerships with businesses that share our sustainability values. The ideal candidate will generate and close qualified leads, develop strong client relationships, and secure partnership opportunities that expand our market reach.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Sales Support Closing sales leads Identify new commercial clients including interior designers, architectural firms, businesses with green values, SMEs, bars, restaurants, and retail stores. Utilise online platforms, directories, and social media to nurture and close qualified leads. Maintain and update a detailed client and lead database regularly. B2B Partnership Development Manage client and partner relationships to encourage referrals, repeat business, and joint marketing. Client Relationship Management Build rapport and trust with prospective clients through personalised outreach and consistent follow-ups via email, phone, and social media. Schedule and co-ordinate discovery calls or meetings for the project manager. Research and leverage market and competitor Insights Conduct market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitive activities to inform sales and partnership strategy. Administrative Support Assist in developing sales materials and lead qualification processes. Track and report on lead generation activities, partnership progress, and sales outcomes.
Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation roles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long-term professional relationships. Resilient and persistent in follow-ups with an entrepreneurial mindset. Strong interest in sustainability and commercial interior design. Proficient with CRM systems and sales outreach tools, or willing to self teach Highly organised, able to work independently with minimal supervision and provides good daily feedback. Entrepreneurial mindset with the passion to grow. Good english language and communication skills Self motivated with a passion for closing deals IT literate with knowledge of using AI to assist your workload
Desirable attributes:

Experience in interior design, architecture, or sustainable building sectors. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and business practices. Skilled in using social media for professional networking and business development.
The Role:

Part-time, 16 - 24 hours per week with flexible working hours, either 6 hour or 8 hour days. Remote working or commuting with a collaborative and supportive company culture. Hourly rate - self employed vacancy with commission on closed deals Clear expectations with measurable goals such as qualified leads generated, partnership meetings secured, and client engagement milestones.
