The Role


We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Business Development Assistant

to join our expanding team in Glasgow. This role will directly support the

Business Development Manager

and play a key part in driving marketing and outreach activity, managing campaign data, and contributing to Certum's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities



Support the planning and execution of

marketing campaigns

, including collecting and segmenting data from

CreditSafe

based on industry, size, and geography. Conduct

data cleansing

activities using

LinkedIn, Lusha, and Google

to ensure accurate and up-to-date marketing information. Manage

data imports and exports

for marketing campaigns across

CRM systems

(currently Microsoft Dynamics, transitioning to HubSpot). Assist with

weekly outreach

on LinkedIn, helping to increase engagement and visibility across both personal and company pages. Maintain and update the

Certum LinkedIn business page

, ensuring consistent, high-quality content and an expanding network of followers. Bring creative ideas and fresh thinking to

social media strategy and campaign planning

. Confidently use tools such as

Lusha, LinkedIn, CreditSafe, HubSpot, Dynamics, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams

. Collaborate closely with the

Business Development Manager

, helping the team achieve key objectives and drive measurable results.

Skills & Experience



Previous experience in a

business development, marketing support, or digital marketing

role. Strong understanding of

data management

and

CRM systems

. Excellent

attention to detail

and strong organisational skills. Confident communicator with professional written and verbal skills. Comfortable using social media platforms, particularly

LinkedIn

, for business engagement and outreach. A proactive, professional attitude with an eagerness to contribute ideas and support the wider team

Job Type: Part time 16 to 20 hours per week

Working hours : Between Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.82 per hour
